Brazilian dies after being arrested for illegally entering the US

The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) announced last Friday (26) the death of a Brazilian detained after entering the country illegally. Kesley Vial, 23, was found unconscious in the prison where he was being held in the state of New Mexico.

According to an ICE statement, Kesley was arrested on April 22 by US agents while illegally crossing from Mexico to the United States through the city of El Paso, Texas. Days after the arrest, the Brazilian was taken to a prison in New Mexico.
